A man has been charged after police seized nearly £100,000 worth of cannabis in Glasgow.
Officers carried out a raid at a property in the Duke Street area of the city on Monday.
A quantity of cannabis plants, worth an estimated £95,000, were recovered from the scene.
The 32-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A police spokesperson said: “Around 10am on Monday, August 5, 2024 officers seized a quantity of cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of £95,000 from a property in Duke Street, Glasgow.
“A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.
“He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, August 6 2024.”
