A man has been charged in connection with an assault on a teenager in Clydebank.
A 13-year-old boy was walking on Great Western Road near to the World of Golf on Saturday around 2pm when he was assaulted.
Police previously conformed that the boy suffered a facial injury as a result.
Officers confirmed on Monday evening that a 66-year-old man has been charged in connection to the incident.
Inspector Alan Gilbert said: “Thanks to the help of the public, a 66-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this incident.
“He is due to appear in Dumbarton Sheriff Court in due course.”
