A man has been charged after the attempted murder of a 60-year-old within a pub in Greenock.

The incident took place around 6.30pm on Tuesday, September 17, within the James Watt pub on Cathcart Street.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Friday, October 18.
