A man has been charged after around 20 people were allegedly found at a Hogmanay party at a flat in Renfrewshire.
Police swooped in on the property following a complaint that coronavirus regulations were being breached.
Officers said advice was given and the group was dispersed, while a 20-year-old man was charged with culpable and reckless conduct.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.05pm on Thursday, December 31, officers were called to a report of people gathering in a flat in Houston Court, Renfrew.
“Officers attended, advice was given and the group was dispersed.
“A 20-year-old man was charged with culpable and reckless conduct and a report was forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.”
