Man arrested over fire in multi-storey tenement building

A 31-year-old has been arrested and charged over the incident that took place on Sunday.

A man has been arrested following a fire at a multi-storey tenement building in Glasgow.

At around 11.30pm a fire broke out on the 10th floor of a tenement building on Littleholm Place, Clydebank on Sunday.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident in which no one was hurt.

A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and he appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

Enquiries are continuing into the incident and officers are eager to hear from anyone who was in the building, or its vicinity, on Sunday evening.
