A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in North Lanarkshire a week ago.
The 23-year-old was later released by police, pending further enquiries.
The incident took place in Brunswick Gardens, Cumbernauld, around 6.55pm on Thursday, January 23.
A dog died and its owner, a 52-year-old woman, suffered a hand injury, after a firearm was discharged.
A 27-year-old man was seriously injured but has since been released from hospital.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A 23-year-old man has been arrested in relation to a disturbance in Brunswick Gardens, Cumbernauld.
“The incident happened around 6.55pm on Thursday, January, 23.
“However, he has been released pending further enquiries.”
Police confirmed enquiries are ongoing.
