A man has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a girl in the bushes at a Glasgow park.
The 16-year-old was reportedly seriously sexually assaulted in Springburn Park between 8.30pm and 9.10pm on June 26.
The teenager was walking near the Moongate on the northeast side of the park when a man allegedly approached and pushed her into nearby bushes.
Officers have arrested a 36-year-old man in connection.
Detective Inspector Sharon McPeake said: “We understand this has been a concerning incident and I would take the opportunity to thank the public for their assistance with our investigation.
“We are continuing to engage with the local community and anyone with concerns is encouraged to speak to one of our officers.”
