Man arrested after police called to reports of 'disturbance' on road

A man has been arrested after a “disturbance” on a road in Glasgow.

Police were called to Great Western Road and Dumbarton Road, in the city’s West End, at around 12.45pm on Wednesday.

A 47-year-old man was arrested in connection with a disturbance.

There was no reports of any injuries.

Enquires into the incident remain ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a man causing a disturbance on Great Western Road and Dumbarton Road in Glasgow around 12.45pm on Wednesday, May 24.

“A 47-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.

“No one was injured.”
