A 27-year-old man has been arrested following a disturbance in Dennistoun, Glasgow, on Tuesday evening.

A 22-year-old has been left in a critical condition and a man has been arrested following a disturbance in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Cardross Court, in Dennistoun, at around 8.20pm on Tuesday.

A 22-year-old man was found injured and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. His condition is described as critical.

Officers said that a 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident as enquiries remain ongoing.

Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.20pm on Tuesday, May 30, police were called to a disturbance in Cardross Court, Dennistoun Glasgow.

“A 22-year-old man was found injured following the incident and was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow where medical staff describe his condition as critical.

“A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
