A man has been arrested after a 34-year-old woman was found dead at a property in Renfrewshire.
Police arrested a 39-year-old man in connection with the incident following the discovery of a body in Cardon Square, Renfrew, at around 11.45pm on Wednesday night.
The death is being treated as ‘unexplained’ and inquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers in Renfrew attended at an address in Cardon Square around 11.45pm on Wednesday, 26 May.
“A 34-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
“Enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding her death, which is currently being treated as unexplained, are ongoing.”
