A man has been arrested and released after a house in Paisley was allegedly shot at on Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to Blackstoun Oval around 11.20am following reports that a firearm had been discharged at a property in the area.
No one was injured following the incident, which is not thought to be linked to the ongoing Operation Portaledge investigating gang violence in the Central Belt.
Police said a 20-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and later released pending further enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.20am on Monday, June 1, 2026, we were called to reports of a firearm shot at a house in Blackstoun Oval, Paisley.
“No-one was injured and enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances.
“A 20-year-old man was arrested in connection and he was released pending further enquiries.”
