Adobe StockA man has been charged with sexual offences after allegedly exposing himself on an Ayrshire street.
The 21-year-old was arrested after the incident was reported to police who issued a public appeal for information.
The sex crime is said to have taken place on a residential street in Kilwinning on Sunday, March 16.
Officers have thanked the public for their help.
A statement released by the force on Wednesday said: “Following a recent request for information about a male exposing himself on a residential street in Kilwinning, a 21-year-old male has been arrested and charged with sexual offences in connection with the incident.
“He will appear at court at a later date. Police thank the public for their assistance.”
