A man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in West Dunbartonshire.
Shortly after midnight on May 8, police were called to an address in Alexander Street, Clydebank where a 38-year-old man had shown up at a takeaway seeking assistance after allegedly being stabbed by a man in the close of nearby flats.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment to serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police confirmed on Friday evening that a 62-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, May 15, 2023.
