Google MapsA man has been arrested and charged after a woman was assaulted in Prestwick.
Police launched an investigation after the incident on the town’s Main Street.
The incident occurred around 1.30am on Sunday.
A 46-year-old man was arrested and has now been charged.
Police Scotland say a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal and the man will appear at Ayr Sheriff Court in due course.
