A man has been charged in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour during Saturday’s Old Firm match.

Police said a 27-year-old man was charged in connection and released on an undertaking to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.

It comes after a large group of fans gathered outside the entrance to Celtic Park following the game.

The group which gathered outside the stadium later dispersed, officers said.

The home side lost 3-1 to rivals Rangers thanks to a double from Youssef Chermiti and a goal from Mikey Moore, which cancelled out Yang’s first-half strike.

Officers say an appropriate policing plan was in place to maintain public safety and minimise any disruption surrounding the game.
