Man arrested and charged after assaulting woman on city street

A man has been arrested and charged after assaulting a woman in Glasgow.

Police were called to Castlebank Street, in the Glasgow Harbour area of the city, on Sunday, August 28, after receiving reports of an attack.

Officers confirmed that a 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

“A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the assault of a woman on Castlebank Street, Glasgow on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

“The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.”
