A man has been charged after armed officers were called to a disturbance on a street in Paisley.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident on Arnott Place at around 5.55pm on Sunday.
Local officers were sent to the scene along with firearms specialists. A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.55pm on Sunday, June 21, 2026, we received a report of a disturbance at Arnott Place in Paisley.
“Local officers, along with firearms officers attended. A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged.
“He has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
