A man is in hospital and another has been arrested following an assault in Glasgow city centre.
At around 5.10pm on Friday, February 17, police received a report that a man has been assaulted on Hope Street, near Central Station.
A police cordon was seen following the incident.
A 27-year-old was taken by ambulance by Glasgow Royal Infirmary and a 39-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.
Police have said that enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.10pm on Friday, February 17, 2023 officers received a report a man had been assaulted on Hope Street, Glasgow.
“The 27-year-old was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
“A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
