A woman has been taken to hospital after she was struck by a car on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to St Mirren Street in Paisley at around 5.45pm following reports of a collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian.
The 60-year-old female was taken to Queen Elizabeth University hospital for treatment following the incident.
Officers arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with a driving offence and he is due to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ” At 5.45pm on Thursday, February 13, 2025 officers attended St Mirren Street, Paisley after reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
“The 60-year-old female pedestrian was taken to Queen Elizabeth University. A 34-year-old man was arrested in connection with a driving offence and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
