iStockA man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly choked whilst on a Lanarkshire-bound train.
The attack occurred on a service between Dalmuir and Larkhall at around 7.15pm on November 3. Following the incident, the suspect left the train at Blantyre station.
Officers later arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of domestic assault.
Those who witnessed the attack are urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 629 of November 3.
