A man has been arrested in connection with three robberies at petrol stations in Lanarkshire.
Staff were left shaken but no injuries were reported, police said.
Two of the incidents took place at a garage on Alexander Street in Airdrie on Monday, January 22, and Thursday, January 25.
The third happened at a petrol station on Main street in Coatbridge on Tuesday, January 23.
The man is expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Friday, January 26.
Detective sergeant Greig Muir said: “We’d like to thank the public for their assistance as we carried out our swift enquiries into this series of attacks.”
