A man has been arrested following a flat fire at a multi-storey building in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Wester Common Road at around 2pm following reports of a property fire on the 15th floor.
The blaze was contained in the one property, and no one was injured. The building was evacuated following the incident.
Officers have arrested a 54-year-old man in connection. An investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, we received a report of a fire at a property on Wester Common Road, Glasgow.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“A 54-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
