A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a dog at a house in Helensburgh.
Emergency services were called to a property in Castlewood Court following reports of a disturbance on Saturday, March 12.
A dog was found dead within the property, and a 33-year-old man was arrested.
An investigation into the incident has been launched by Police Scotland.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We can confirm that a 33-year-old man has been charged in connection with a disturbance at a property on Castlewood Court, Helensburgh, on Saturday, 12 March, 2022.
“A dog was found dead within the property and further enquiries into the circumstances of the death are ongoing.”
The man was due to appear in court this week.
