A man has been arrested after armed police were called to a disturbance at a flat in Glasgow.
The incident at a property on Castlemilk Drive was first reported to the authorities at around 8.30pm on Sunday, August 23.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, including armed police and negotiators.
A 35-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the incident and is due to appear in court.
A spokesperson said: “Around 8.30pm on Sunday, August 23, we were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance within a flat on Castlemilk Drive, Glasgow.
“Officers including firearms officers and negotiators attended.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“A 35-year-old man was later arrested in connection.
“He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, August 24.
“A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.”
