Man arrested abroad to appear in court over murder

The 25-year-old was subject to extradition procedures over the death of Jamie Lee in 2017.

A man is due to appear in court in connection with the death of a father shot near a play park in Glasgow more than two years ago.

Jamie Lee, 23, died in hospital after the shooting in Ballantay Terrace, Castlemilk, in July 2017.

A 25-year-old man was arrested overseas in December on a European Arrest Warrant in connection with his death.

He was subject to extradition procedures and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, Police Scotland said.
