A man has appeared in court after a 78-year-old was shot outside a home in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to an address on Crichton Street in Springburn at around 12.40pm on May 28 after a man was injured.
Specialist firearms officers were deployed to the scene.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury and later discharged.
Arron Graham, from Clydebank, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court in connection with the incident on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old faced charges including assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement, as well as offences under the Firearms Act 1968 and a charge of reset.
Graham made no plea during the hearing and was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
He is due to appear in court again within the next eight days.
