A man and woman have been found dead in Renfrewshire.
Police were called to reports of concern for a person on Corsliehill Road in Houston on Monday.
The bodies of a 43-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were found nearby.
The deaths are being treated as unexplained, and next of kin have been made aware.
Investigations are ongoing, but Police Scotland said there is nothing to suggest anyone else has been involved.
A spokesperson said: “An investigation is ongoing into the deaths of a 36-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man in the Houston area.

“The deaths are being treated as unexplained, and post-mortem examinations will be carried out in due course.
“Extensive enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances. At this time, there is nothing to suggest anyone else has been involved.
“Their relatives are aware and are being supported by specialist officers.”
