A man and woman has been arrested after the golf courses and clubhouse at Trump Turnberry were vandalised in South Ayrshire.
The popular golf resort near the Girvan in South Ayrshire was targeted by vandals in the early hours of the morning of Saturday, March 8.
Red paint could be seen daubed over the clubhouse while the greens were dug up and marker flags pulled down.
The luxury golf resort is operated by The Trump Organisation, which Donald Trump owns.

The vandalism was blasted as a “childish, criminal act” by Trump Turnberry.
Police said a 75-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman were arrested following enquiries in Oban on Wednesday, March 26.
Both people have been released.
Police Scotland said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers investigating damage to a golf course and a hotel on Maidens Road, Turnberry, have arrested two people in connection with the incident.
“A 75-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman were arrested following enquiries in Oban on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Both have since been released pending further enquiries.
“The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.”
