A man and a teenager remain in hospital with serious injuries days after they were assaulted in Glasgow.
Police were called to Raithburn Road around 4.45pm on Saturday where the incidents occurred.
A man aged 38 was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following one of the attacks.
A 16-year-old male was then taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary following a second assault.
Both victims remain in hospital with serious injuries although neither has been described as in a life-threatening condition.
Detective sergeant Craig Muir, of Cathcart CID, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of both incidents, however it has not yet been established if they are linked.
“We believe the suspects left the scene via Carmunnock Road.
“I am appealing to anyone who was walking or driving in the area around the time of the assaults and may have witnessed something, to get in touch.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2443 of March 18, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
