A man and a teenager found dead inside a house have been named by police.

The bodies of Seweryn Thomas, 40, and Antoni Thomas, 16, were discovered within a property in Grainger Road, Bishopbriggs, at around 4.10pm last Wednesday.

Police in East Dunbartonshire are treating the incident as murder and have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Detective inspector Stevie Watson, of Kirkintilloch CID, said: “Our thoughts are with Antoni and Seweryn’s family at this very difficult time and we are providing them support.

“The incident is being treated as murder and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. 

“These enquiries are still at an early stage, however, we would like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Grainger Road around 4pm on Wednesday, December 23, and anyone who might have any information that could assist with our enquiries.”
