A woman said an alleged dating site sex attacker apologised to her.
The 31-year-old stated she was left in pain by a man called James at her home in Glasgow in September 2020.
The attack is said to have occurred after the pair had gone out for dinner then a walk on a beach.
The woman’s pre-recorded testimony was played at the trial of James Clacher at the High Court in Glasgow on Thursday.
The 57-year-old is accused raping the woman and another female a year earlier.
Clacher denies the charges.
This woman said she had met James on the Bumble dating app.
She believed the man to be in his late 30s or early 40s.
The pair agreed to go to a Nando’s restaurant in Glasgow’s Springfield Quay.
James drove to her home and there was consensual kissing and hugging.
They went for dinner, but ended up taking their food away before going to a beach in Ayrshire.
On the journey back to Glasgow, the woman claimed the man suggested they go back to his home so he “could make cocktails” to drink.
She said no and instead offered for James to go back to her flat.
The woman said: “The plan was to watch a movie then he would go home.”
The jury heard they sat on a couch in the living room while the film was on before they began kissing.
She ended up taking her dress off and the man also removed some of his clothes.
Asked what then happened, the woman claimed he then attempted to have sex with her.
She added: “I was trying to stop him and direct him back to the movie.”
The woman recalled she was not facing him as she continued to attempt to “deter” him.
She became emotional in her evidence as the witness described trying to cover herself up “because he was not listening”.
The woman alleged the man went on to sexually assault her.
She said he grabbed one arm with the other against the couch.
The woman recalled feeling “a sharp pain” and also being “scared”. The alleged attacker did not say anything.
The court heard she got “angry” and asked him to leave.
But, she claimed he instead sat down and remained there for another 20 minutes.
When he eventually left, the woman stated the man said he was “sorry” and that he wanted to see her again.
The trial was told there was later further contact between them.
Recalling a message, the woman explained: “I told him that what he had done was wrong and that I was going to report him.
“He said that he wanted to talk to me about it, but I did not pick up the calls.”
The woman was later questioned by Clacher’s lawyer Janice Green about apparent differences in her police statement from what she claimed in her testimony.
The witness stated at one stage: “I do not remember every detail from six years ago.”
Another woman had earlier told the trial how she was raped by a man in August 2019 after they had met on Tinder.
She had believed he was a fitness instructor called James Clarke.
The 46-year-old mum claimed she was attacked within 15 minutes of the man turning up at her home in Ayrshire.
The trial, before judge Lord Cubie, continues.
