A man has been charged after a 77-year-old was left in hospital following a robbery in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Victoria Road, in Govanhill, at around 11.55pm on Friday.
A man, 77, was taken to the Victoria Infirmary after being the subject of a robbery.
He was treated and released.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.55pm on Friday, March 14, 2025 we called to a report that a 77-year-old man had been the subject of a robbery on Victoria Road, Govanhill, Glasgow. He was taken to the Victoria Infirmary where he was treated and has since been released.
“A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the incident. He is due to appear at court on Monday, 17 March, 2025. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
