Officers were called to reports of a man seriously injured on Maxwell Street, near its junction with Main Street, around 5.50pm on Friday.

The death is being treated as unexplained pending the results of a post-mortem examination.
Detective sergeant Graham Clarke said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the man who died at this very difficult time and our enquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have information that could assist with our investigation to contact officers.
