Police have confirmed the death of a pedestrian following a serious road crash in Glasgow earlier this month.
Patrick Stoddard, 67, who was 66 at the time, was struck by a black Audi A1 on Carmunnock Road at approximately 5pm on Thursday, December 4.
He was treated for life-threatening injuries at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for over three weeks before passing away on Saturday, December 27.
Inquiries into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “Our sympathies are with the family and friends of Patrick Stoddard at this time, and we continue to investigate this collision.
“Members of the public who witnesses what happened, or anyone with dash-cam or doorbell cam footage of the incident is asked to contact police immediately.”
