A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Carntyne Road around 8.45pm on Saturday after the pedestrian was struck.
A 58-year-old man was taken to hospital, where his condition is described as critical.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
The road was closed for over six hours to allow for investigations before reopening at 3.05am on Sunday.
Sergeant Chris McColm of Road Policing said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have dash-cam footage of significance, to please get in touch.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3463 of Saturday, March 22, 2025.”
