A man has died after taking unwell on a bus in Glasgow.

The 52-year-old man was on a bus in the Anderston area around 9.55am on Tuesday when he suffered a medical emergency.

Emergency services were called to Oak Street and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have said there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.

A spokesperson said: “Around 9.55am on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, we were made aware of a medical emergency on a bus on Oak Street, Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended however a 52-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin are aware.

“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
