A man has been arrested and charged following a deliberate fire at a Glasgow tenement.
Emergency crews were called to a blaze in a fourth-floor flat within an empty building on Stoneyhurst Street in Possilpark at around 4.50pm on Sunday, September 6.
There were no reported injuries.
Police said the 48-year-old is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, September 14.
The building had stood empty for 20 years but had secured funding to be refurbished into affordable homes.
The fire followed protests in July and August over online claims that the flats would be used to house people seeking asylum. Developer NG Homes stated the information was false.
