Man, 45, dies after crash between motorbike and car

A man has died after a crash between a motorbike and a car.

Police were called to the Baillieston Interchange, Glasgow, at about 3pm on Saturday, after reports of a collision between a black Audi A4 car and a black Honda motorcycle.

The 45-year-old driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sergeant Roy McCarney said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family and friends of the motorcyclist who died, at this difficult time.

“We are carrying out extensive investigations into the incident and we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened who has not already spoken to officers.

“In particular we would like to speak to anyone who may have dash-cam footage that could help with our inquiries, to get in touch.”
