A man has been found seriously injured on a Glasgow street following a targeted attack on Thursday.
The 41-year-old was attacked on Scalpay Street in the Maryhill area of the city at around 8.10pm.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and the man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. His condition has been described as stable.
An investigation into the altercation is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.10pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025, police were called to a report that a 41-year-old man had been attacked and seriously injured following an altercation in Scalpay Street, Maryhill, Glasgow.
“He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Glasgow where medical staff describe his condition as stable.
“Enquiries into the incident, which at this time police believe was targeted, are continuing.”
