The family of a man who died after a crash in Ayrshire said he will be “forever missed”.
Emergency services were called to the B742, south of Dalrymple, around 00.50am on Monday after a crash involving a black BMW one series car.
The driver of the car, a 24-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has since been named as Ewan MacDonald from the Maybole area.
His family have said he will be “forever missed”.
They released the following statement: “Ewan will be forever missed. We are so grateful for all the love, support and kindness shown from our family, friends and community.”
Sergeant Scott Gourlay said: “Our thoughts are with Ewan’s family and friends.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, and I ask anyone who has not spoken to the police already and saw what happened to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dash-cam or CCTV which could assist to get in touch.”
