A major road has been closed in both directions due to a serious crash.
Emergency services were in attendance on the A90 near Stonehaven following the collision on Friday afternoon.
Drivers have been advised to use a diversion route and told to allow time for longer journey times.
It is yet not known whether there are any injuries as a result of the incident.
Northeast Police said: “A90 southbound near Stonehaven is currently closed due to a crash involving two cars. Motorists are asked to seek alternatives routes.
“The road is likely to be closed for some time.
“Thank you for your patience.”
