A person has been taken to hospital amid major disruption to train services at Hyndland railway station.
Officers were called to the station around 4.23pm on Monday after reports of a casualty on the tracks.
British Transport Police confirmed that paramedics attended the scene and a person was taken to hospital.
They said the incident is not being treated as “suspicious”.
ScotRail confirmed that services at the station will be subject to change or cancellation following the incident.
The rail operators said they have arranged for rail tickets to be accepted on Glasgow Subway routes at no extra cost.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Hyndland railway station at 4.23pm on April 22, to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended and a person was taken to hospital.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
The news comes just days after emergency services were called to Hyndland Station after a woman was pushed onto the tracks.
British Transport Police said an 18-year-old man was then charged with attempted murder.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “A report will be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal.”
