Traffic ScotlandThe M9 was closed in both directions near Stirling as emergency services respond to an ongoing incident.
Police Scotland said the motorway was shut between Junction 9 Pirnhall Interchange and Junction 10 Craigforth Interchange at around 8.40am on Tuesday.
Police were responding to a report of concern for a person, the force said.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
Traffic was being held on approach at around 8.20am.
The M9 reopened shortly before 11am.
