Stretches of the M9 have been closed due to a collision near the Stirlingshire area.
Traffic Scotland confirmed that the northbound carriageway on the road was closed on Thursday evening.
It has not yet been confirmed how many vehicles were involved in the collision or if anyone has been injured.
It’s been confirmed that emergency services are in attendance at the scene.
Drivers have been advised to plan alternative routes and warned that normal journey times could be longer than expected.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
