X/Traffic ScotlandPart of the M80 is blocked after two lorries lost traction on the round in North Lanarkshire.
Traffic Scotland confirmed the road was blocked at junction seven at around 11.30am on Saturday.
One driver responded to a post about the roadblock on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying they had been stuck in traffic surrounding the incident for an hour.
The latest update came at around 12.30pm confirming that the road was still blocked.
It comes after Storm Bert has hit Scotland with heavy snow, rain and strong winds.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
