A crash between a car and a van blocked two lanes of the M8 westbound on Friday afternoon.
The collision took place at around 1.30pm near Junction 8 Baillieston Interchange.
The crash caused delays of around half an hour at the major intersection east of Glasgow with debris strewn across the carriageway.
The motorway was cleared at around 3pm with traffic returning to normal.
