iStockThe M8 has reopened following a police incident during rush hour.
Drivers were urged to use alternative routes due to closures at junctions 11 and 12 reported just after 5pm on Thursday.
Police on the scene were directing traffic.
Road users were being diverted onto the M80 at junction 1.
The road was initially closed in both directions but was fully reopened as of 6.10pm.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
