Traffic ScotlandMotorists using the M8 have been told to expect delays following a collision on Wednesday morning.
The incident took place at around 7.20am near on the motorway’s eastbound carriageway near to junction 18.
Traffic Scotland has warned that lane three has been blocked due to the crash and congestion is building in the area.
It is currently not known how many vehicles are involved, however, emergency services are making their way to the scene.
A Traffic Scotland post on X read: “Lane three (Of three) is currently blocked on the M8 Eastbound at J18 due to a collision.
“This is adding to routine congestion…take care on approach. Police are currently en-route.”
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
