Lane restrictions have been put in place on the M8 following a three-vehicle crash which has left two drivers in hospital.
The road smash involved a Mini, a hearse and a Peugeot van on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway after the Kingston Bridge at 9.50am on Tuesday.
The drivers of the hearse and the van, both male, have been taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary following the collision.
A female driver of the Mini was uninjured.
The crash has left only one lane open at on the M8, with two lanes of the motorway blocked eastbound between Junction 19 and Junction 18 as officers carry out enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.50 am on Tuesday police were called to a three vehicle road crash eastbound on the M8 after the Kingston Bridge.
“The vehicles involved were a Mini, a hearse and a Peugeot van.
“The female driver of the Mini was uninjured. The male drivers of the hearse and van have been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. No details on injury, if any.
“The road is down to one lane to allow officers to carry out their enquiries.”
