Drivers warned of delays after crash closes part of M8

Drivers are being warned of delays on the M8 following a crash.

The motorway is currently closed at junction 24 westbound, near Govan.

Emergency services were called to the incident around 8.10pm on Wednesday, and diversions have been put in place.

The road remained closed as of 9.50pm, with police managing traffic via the on- and off-slips.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said investigations into the incident are ongoing.
